Preparation time 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
- 3 carrots
- 3 mushrooms
- 1 yellow onion
- ¼ of kale
- 1 clove of garlic
- 5 g or 1 Tbsp of fresh ginger
- 30 g sesame
- 25 g peanuts (optional)
- Soy sauce
Accompaniment: rice, noodles or vermicelli.
Cut the carrots in 3, lengthwise, before cutting them in 4 in the direction of the width. Put them in a frying pan over medium heat.
Cut the onion in half, then half it again and cut it into thick slices. Cut the ginger and garlic into small pieces. Slice coarsely the kale. Cut the mushrooms into half-centimetre slices.
Grind half of the sesame seeds, and mix it with the rest of the sesame seeds.
After 10 minutes, add the onions (and peanuts).
After 15 minutes start boiling the rice in a saucepan and add the ginger and garlic to the wok mixture.
After 20 minutes add the cabbage, mushrooms and half of the sesame mixture. Add a little soy sauce (the contents of the pan should cook for a total of 30 minutes).
When the rice is cooked, it’s ready! Sprinkle the remaining of the sesame mixture over the wok mixture and pour a little soy sauce.
