The Hummus

 

For 2 people – easy ~ €

Cooking time if required: 30 minutes

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 300 g cooked chickpeas
  • 2 medium-sized garlic cloves
  • 3 tsp of cumin
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 Tbsp of tahini sauce
  • 1 tsp of sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper

Accompaniment: bread, cut vegetables (carrot, cucumber, cauliflower …)

If the chickpeas were bought in bulk, soak them between from 6 hours to overnight, then boil them for 30 minutes. For 300 g cooked chickpeas, 150 g dry chickpeas are required.

Mix chickpeas, cloves of garlic, cumin, olive oil, water, tahin, salt and pepper in a blender. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds. It’s ready to taste.
